Linda visited us on our birthday

Linda Nordstrom visited the Netherlands and Belgium last week. This visit happened at a great moment as we met her and her husband Jim for the first time exactly a year before. It was then at the show in London that we decided together that Gorge Nails would be a distributor of Famous Names.

The Nordstroms belong to the great names in in the nail industry. In 1979 Jim was one of the co-founders of CND and he developed some great products for them. Together with Linda he founded Famous Names Products in 2010 aiming at doing things even better than before by restricting themselves to producing only products that are the best of their kind.

Up to now this resulted in Lumos, Dadi’Oil and IBX, each product award winning and without an equal. We have high expectations for the near future, because what else could we expect but even more fantastic products!

Linda’s visit was a hugh success! In the few days, that she was with us, she made a great impression on over 100 nail professionals. Heartwarming, enthousiastic, competent and tireless, she made her audience love her as much as her products.

Friday February 27 we had two meetings in restaurant “De Hof” in Renswoude, tha took very well care of us.

In the morning our sub-distributors were invited. Linda told them just about everything about IBX, that can be told about this product after this one year of world wide experience with it.

Her audience felt very inspired by her story and even the most experienced among them heard things they didn’t know before.

In the afternoon we welcomed 50 nail professionals, that use IBX in their salons. Some use it almost a year, some considerably less. Linda had no problem entertaining this large number of people. Wherever needed Tracy took care of translating Linda’s words into Dutch which sometimes resulted in some black humor.

At the end of the day the professionals tested their knowledge very successfully in their exam for the IBX System Education Program.

On Saturday Linda visited Belgium where she attended the National Manicurist Exam organised by Asap Nails & Beauty in the wonderful city of Bruges.

Here she found an audience of young professionals, that was relatively unknown with IBX. After Linda had her speech a number of them was very interested, so this meeting was a good investment in our future.
