Famous Names LLC was founded in 2010 by Linda and Jim Nordstrom and Lisa Hamilton. Jim and Linda have spent their entire professional careers in The Professional Beauty Industry. Since its inception, Famous Names LLC has been dedicated to creating Best In Class products exclusively for Nail Professionals.

CHAIRMAN

Jim has been in the Professional Beauty Industry for over 35 years and began his career as co-founder of Creative Nail Design (now CND). He served as CEO & Chairman for 17 years. Jim now serves as Chairman of Famous Names with special focus on Research & Development and Distribution Development. He is also a Director and Partner in Sweet Squared Ltd. in the UK and Ireland.

 

CEO

After starting her career as a successful Salon Owner, Linda became an Educator and Advocate for Nail Technicians and Artists worldwide. With over thirty years of experience, she now leads the global educational and customer support strategy for Famous Names, and still finds the time to be a tireless and supportive daily resource for an ever growing network of enthusiastic Nail Professionals. Linda truly loves to spend her time “in the trenches” with her fellow Nail Technicians.

 

PARTNER

Lisa has over 35+ years in Operational Management Experience with a significant emphasis on Software Systems implementation in Manufacturing. In 1986 Lisa joined Creative Nail Design and for over 20 years helped grow the company into a leadership position in the professional nail industry as their VP of Operations. In 2010, she joined Jim and Linda Nordstrom to create Famous Names LLC. Lisa manages the Operational side of the business including Procurement, Manufacturing, and our ERP Software.

 

LOGISTICS MANAGER

Niki has grown up in the professional beauty industry, following in her parents’ footsteps. She is an accomplished Cosmetologist trained by Vidal Sassoon and has been a part of Famous Names since its start. She has worked as show manager and now runs the Distribution Center. Anyone that knows Niki knows she has an amazing zest for life and is up for just about any challenge!

 

CUSTOMER SERVICE PRO

Marti has been a Nail Professional for over 30 years. She also worked for Jim at CND as a Research & Development Administrator; she supervised the nail technician in the testing stages of a product. She has been with Famous Names since 2015 and does an amazing job-our customers love her!!  Marti is also Linda’s assistant and does an amazing job.

 

ACCOUNTING

Carli joined the Famous Names Team after graduating from UNLV (University Nevada of Las Vegas) 2021 with a major in International Business and a minor in Finance. Growing up in a family dedicated to the Professional Beauty Industry it was a natural she would be part of the team! Carli works in Finance, Accounting and Marketing.

FAMOUS NAMES PRO

Pam has been in the Nail Industry for over 33 years and was the first field tester for Famous Names products. She is a Famous Names Pro of 6 years who is passionate about education and believes every Tech should take a class yearly. Pam brings a lot of enthusiasm and amazing experience to the team. She never says No!

 

FAMOUS NAMES PRO

Lisa is an educator and celebrity nail artist. Lisa has traveled around the country sharing her ideas, creativity and dedication to education with fellow Nail Artists and Technicians. She brings over thirty years of practical and hands-on experience to the Professional Beauty Industry, and is willing to share that wealth of knowledge with anyone who is willing to listen and learn.

 

FAMOUS NAMES PRO

Wendy is a licensed nail tech of 11 years, Famous Names PRO for 5 years, she owns her own Nail Salon, Wendy Weed Glamour in Georgia and is extremely successful. Wendy loves to share her knowledge wholeheartedly with other nail professionals, she is passionate and very to the point!

 

FAMOUS NAMES PRO

Myeshia is co-owner of Delane’s Natural Nail Care in CA. She worked 12 years as a beauty consultant in operations and an executive assistant to several salon brands. She has a successful career helping women start and grow their beauty business and triple their sales. Myeshia enjoys being a Famous Names IBX PRO. She takes pride in not only educating but transforming people’s feet and nails back to health.

 

FAMOUS NAMES PRO

So Yong is the owner of a successful salon in Texas and has over 21 years experience as a manufactures educator for domestic and international markets. So Yong has an artistic side that brings a wide variety of possibilities to the salon professional. She brings good business sense to the salon owner, nail professional and shares great ideas to help them grow.

 

FAMOUS NAMES BRAND AMBASSADOR

Holly has over 20 years of experience in the nail industry spanning all aspects of the business. She brings her passion, knowledge, and expertise to Famous Names. Holly began her career as a nail professional in 1999 and quickly found her niche as an educator. She spent 16 years with CND delivering training programs around the world. Additionally, Holly launched FingerNailFixer, her industry-leading blog in 2010; hosted initially on Nails Magazine®. Today the FingerNailFixer blog is independent, but still provides valuable information, training, and resources for nail professionals.
