Nails – In Advance

Nails are often overlooked when it comes to bridal beauty but let’s face it, you’ll be asked to present your wedding ring to guests throughout the big day and don’t forget the all-important wedding photo that captures the moment when you exchange said ring with your betrothed.

If you’re in need of a nail rescue, book in for a nail repair programme like IBX. This will help repair any damaged, weak and flaky nails and get them in shape. Start at least six weeks before to give them a chance of recovery. If getting to the salon is too much commitment along with your other bridal prep, try CND’s Rescue RXx, an at-home daily treatment that will also help repair nails. Combine with religious hand cream application (at least twice a day) and nail oil (at least once a day) and your nails will be in tip-top condition whatever you choose to wear on your nails. Try Dadi Oil or CND Solar Oil for nails and L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream or Lanolips Lano Rose Hand Cream Everyday for hands.

It’s also a good time to start thinking about your colour choices. You’ll no doubt know the shade of your dress, shoes and bouquet so look on Pinterest and Instagram, great visual spaces for inspiration. LM-S
